Tutor Placement Overview

Thank you for expressing an interest in MTC Tutoring!

We are currently experiencing very high demand for tutors and are working as quickly as possible to make placements. Your student will be placed on our waitlist and will be matched with a suitable tutor as soon as possible.

Requirements for Tutoring

In order for your student to be matched with a tutor, please review and complete the following:

Complete the Parent Permission Form

Please complete the Mentor Tutor Connection Permission Form. Available in English or Spanish.

Tutoring Location & Platform

Tutoring Platform: Tutoring takes place on campus during school hours (between 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).

In some instances, tutoring will be provided remotely via GoogleMeet (LASD) or Zoom (MVWSD).

Strudent/Family Commitment to Tutoring

  1. Students attend scheduled sessions on time and prepared with necessary materials and limited distractions
  2. If your student needs to miss a session, please notify the tutor as soon as possible via email.
  3. Tutoring may be discontinued if multiple sessions are missed.
